TOSO & MASSARI

Renato Toso and Noti Massari

 

Renato Toso and Noti Massari were born in Venezia where they studied and founded their studio in 1966. They got married in 1968.

Their practice included architecture, renovation, furniture and lighting.

Inspired by Toso’s father, the Fratelli Toso glass company owner, they participated in the founding and the development of the famous Leucos brand, specialized in modern glass objects and lights.

They designed the school complex in Scandolara, offices for Leucos, carried renovation projects in Venezia.

They collaborated with Roberto Pamio on various furniture projects, among those, the Lara sofa for Stilwood.

They held exhibitions at Palazzo Grassi in Venezia, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the MOMA in New York.
