Tito Agnoli (1931-2012)
Tito Agnoli was born in Lima, Peru, in 1931 in an Italian family.
Established in Italy after the war, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture and graduated in 1959.
Agnoli had a prolific activity, worked with many furniture companies such as Arflex, Bonacina, Cinova, Molteni, Poltrona Frau. He had a long and fruitful collaboration with Oluce, for which he created iconic lights such as the 387.
Functionality and minimalism are the main features of his style, characteristic of post-war modernism.
He earned the NeoCon prize in Chicago in 1986.
His works are featured in the Triennale of Milano and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Bordeaux.
