Note
The first version this desk was created in 1958 by Ico Parisi for MIM.
From the 1966 “home and office” catalog, it was developed by Ennio Fazioli into a series of variants : rectangular desk, curved desk in various sizes and equipped with different accessories, rectangular and elliptical meeting table in various sizes. The most interesting element is the leg design, an intertwining of two upper open Cs that embrace a lower C to form an elaborate support. In the first version, the upper arms were parallel, and therefore the legs had a front crossbar that ensured transverse stability to the supports. The crossbar was abolished in subsequent versions developed by the MIM technical office in order to achieve greater versatility and ease of use.
