Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni applied their method of shaping form by assembling mass-produced objects. From the automotive industry they took a car headlight supported with a thin hexagonal metal stem. The transformer and the wires are exposed.
Only the strictly essential elements compose the lamp to create its raw design stating the Italian brothers’ functionalist philosophy.
