Eleonore Peduzzi-Riva (b.1939)
Born in Milan in 1939, Eleonore Peduzzi-Riva is one of the prominent Italian designer of the 60s and 70s. She studied at the Politecnico di Milano and led a career in architecture, interior design, industrial design and consulting.
Among her most famous projects is the DS-600, a modular sofa, created in collaboration with Heinz Ulrich, Klaus Vogt and Ueli Berger for the Swiss firm De Sede.
For Artemide she created the elegant Vacuna table lamp, further illustrating her interest in fluidity and modularity in modern design.
She experimented all type of materials, producing elegant glass work with Vistosi, plastic objects with Artemide.
