GUARNACCI & PADOVANO

Guarnacci & Padovano

Emilio Guarnacci (born in 1938) and Felix Padovano (born in 1945) are major Italian designers from the 60s and the 70s.

Their works are associated with the « Space Age » tendency.

They collaborated with the Tuscan company 1P (Uno Pi) with whom they produced their most important pieces of furniture.

Their use of new synthetic foams allowed them to create innovative seating systems.

Among these were the Nuava armchairs and sofa (1967) and the Duna modular sofa system with Claudio Vagnoni (1969).
