TOMMASO CIMINI

Tommaso Cimini (1930-1997)

 

Tommaso Cimini went to work to Milan in the field of light design.

After collaborating with Artemide for many years, he founded his own company, Lumina.

In 1975, he created the Daphine, floor and table lamps. This model was a great success and exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Other models include the Elle 55, a floor lamp in 1986, and the Zed, a table lamp using optic fiber in 1987.
